Wave Electric is Jimmy Palmer's company. He started it in 2015 because Baldwin County homeowners and builders deserved an electrician who picks up the phone, shows up on time, and does the work right the first time.
I'm Jimmy Palmer. I started Wave Electric in 2015 after years of working as an electrician for other companies across the Gulf Coast. What pushed me to go on my own wasn't a business plan. It was walking into too many homes and finding the same things: flickering lights nobody could explain, outlets that ran warm to the touch, panels stuffed with double-tapped breakers, wet-area rooms with no GFCI protection anywhere in sight. Careless work leaves families guessing whether their house is safe, and I got tired of watching it.
So I set the standard I wanted to work to. On the residential side, that means listening first. A homeowner in Fairhope or Daphne might call about one flickering fixture, and the real problem is a service that's undersized for the loads a modern house pulls, or wiring that never got brought up to code. The commercial side is where I get to work at scale.
